The investment mentality: Are you a wolf or a chicken?

mindset of an entrepreneur

This is a venting blog;

We have decided to write about the "people", CEOS or bosses who, because of their personality, are not suitable for advertising investments. We are aware that investments (whether in advertising or any other area of company expansion) are not suitable for everyone. We know that depending on certain human factors, these types of investments can be detrimental to people with these types of traits.

In years of experience managing our clients' advertising spend, we've seen all kinds of behaviors. Some of them too toxic. Because being the "boss" of a company doesn't make you smart enough/responsible enough to know how to run that company or manage a simple investment properly.

Although we manage the advertising investment and campaigns, we are faced with uncomfortable situations due to people who do not respect our work (they modify our campaigns without permission, they think they know more than us, they distrust us, they force us to make changes that are imprudent, etc...).

In addition to not having a good investment mentality. No matter how good a job we do, if the other factors don't align together to strengthen a strategy that will grow your business, we won't be able to help you.

In this blog we want you to identify what type of entrepreneur you are , a wolf or a chicken.

But first, we define these concepts:

HEN: it is related to fear, impulsivity, irresponsibility, "chunky" investment, desperation, short term vision or impatience.

WOLF: is related to courage, patience, responsible, long term vision, honest and with good emotional management.

A previous summary: If you are impatient DO NOT invest, there is no such thing as overnight results, great victories are for great long-planners,

If you want to invest little, you better NOT invest, since you will probably fall short and you will not optimize results, not even by hiring an agency.

If your company does not offer a good product or service, DO NOT invest. Advertising is about attracting an audience, but it does not improve your company. No matter how much you invest in marketing, if you don't offer something good, you will lose money. Instead, worry about changing your company from the ground up, before you go on stage.

Well, now let's take a closer look at these concepts:

Impatient people; Google Ads or any other platform is not an instant advertising strategy that produces results overnight. There are people who may believe that they can invest one day 500€ in Google Ads, and in two days they will be rich.

Ads must be created carefully, keywords must be researched and adjustments must be made on an ongoing basis to optimize results.

Also, even when you do all the right things, results can take a while to come. Therefore, if you are an impatient person, Google Ads is not the best option for you.

2. People who expect to be rich in two days

We have mentioned them in the previous section, but they deserve a section of their own. Google Ads can be a very effective advertising strategy, but it is not a guaranteed way to get rich in no time.

Successful advertising on Google Ads requires patience, perseverance and a significant investment of time and money. Successful Google Ads companies have built their success over time and have made many adjustments along the way.

So, if you're hoping to get rich quick, Google Ads is not for you.

3. People who are not willing to invest in agencies or training in digital marketing To be effective in Google Ads, it is necessary to have a good knowledge of the platform and the best practices of online advertising, in addition to being well advised. This can have an impact on the investment of time or money in online advertising.

If you are not willing to invest in your education or online advertising agencies, Google Ads may not be the best option for you.

4. People who do not have an adequate advertising budget Google Ads can have a high cost depending on the type of business, location or keywords used. If you do not have an adequate advertising budget, you may not be able to compete with other companies or businesses that are willing to invest more money in advertising. Therefore, it is important to consider the cost of advertising on Google Ads before deciding if it is right for you.

5. People who do not have time to manage and optimize advertising campaigns(failing that, delegate it to a digital marketing agency) Google Ads requires a significant investment of time to manage and optimize advertising campaigns.

If you don't have the time to dedicate to managing and optimizing your Google Ads campaigns, you may not be able to get the best possible results. Optimizing campaigns makes them stable over time, so they will help you get a higher return. If you are not willing to make the necessary adjustments and make informed decisions based on data, you may not be able to get the most out of your Google Ads ad campaigns. Google Ads is not for everyone.

If you are impatient, expect to get rich quick, are unwilling to invest in your online advertising education, don't have an adequate advertising budget or don't have the time to manage and optimize your ad campaigns, advertising may not be the best option for you.

SUCCESS STORIES

There are clients who, after 6 months without profitable campaigns, have managed to expand their business like never before, with double the number of employees, triple the sales and triple the market recognition.

Why?

Because they have been patient, they have believed in us and they have known how to manage a long-term advertising budget that has made them fucking winners.

We worked every day, non-stop because both we and the client believed in the project. But like everything in life, things take time. And when they come, it's worth it. This client is still with us after 2 and a half years.

With better and better results. The first 6 months of testing have served to demonstrate that this is the mentality that every entrepreneur who invests should have.

On the other hand, we have had clients who have invested 1000 € in one day, and despite such an investment Google Ads does not work miracles. Maybe you don't need 6 months, but 1, 2 or 3.

Finally, after failing to achieve sales in 2 DAYS, they were terminated.

A chicken I guess,

The result: the company went bankrupt 4 months later.

There are people who, by chance of life, get to run a company. But that does not give you the skills to know how to make it grow or maintain it.

If you are a wolf, this is the place for you.

Every week we are more wolves and now we are migrating to America!
