Film Marketing and the success of Super Mario Bros. the Movie

The new Super Mario movie has had an innovative way of marketing a video game, or a major company like Nintendo. Universal, with the collaboration of Nintendo, are marketing at an extreme level, which of course is working in an unbeatable way.

This project is made up of a company that has created classic games, with a great reputation worldwide, and another company that has produced blockbuster movies.


The result: a very ambitious project.

The film is aimed at a very broad audience. Obviously it is very important that the production, in addition to knowing the project, knows the target audience very well. It is a film that, in addition to focusing on children, is aimed at all the people who have grown up with the Mario franchise, because of all the details that the film offers related to video games.

People who have consumed this type of video games, know very well the details that appear in the scenes of the movie, making it very striking and capturing the attention of viewers. The fact of transmitting the essence of the games to the movie has brought an added value, making the chances of success much higher. The Gamer community is, of course, one of the target audiences for this film.

This type of strategy has worked perfectly with other types of movies, which have made the audience increase considerably thanks to the actors who acted in it.

In short, in this production we see the cooperation of very important companies worldwide, which are setting a trend through very aggressive marketing. This obviously results in a higher level of income for all the companies.

This type of synergies can help to make different businesses more profitable, as long as they cooperate with full knowledge of the project in common, and knowing with certainty the target audience.

It is clear that a good investment in marketing, accompanied by a spectacular strategy, produces good results on a large scale.
